I've had three black cats over the years, Bluey who I got for my 1st birthday, and who moved out with me when I got married. Then years later Toby and Tess, who were feral rescue kittens. I love black cats ... shh don't mention it to Ginger. ๐ฑ
When we had a young family our beautiful black cat “moved house” - my interpretation of the feline need to move on - disappearing without a trace permanently. We think it may have been because a relative was house sitting/cat sitting while we were away. Sounds dramatic but we never really got over it.
I know what you mean. Tess and Toby had a big brother/sister fall out and she left home to live with a lady in the house a few doors down. They were good for each other but I was pretty upset for a while. Toby was very happy!!
I read a book today instead of doing something worthy-I enjoyed it and then dived into the history of Clarks shoes and the family who owned it which was fascinating. Sorry not sorry❤️ Catriona
I can agree with that first saying! Once I start reading, nothing else gets done! As for the second saying, I'm more of a tea drinker (lost my taste for coffee during chemo and never regained it).

So true on both counts๐ The cat cartoon is so lovely, I used to have a black cat called Betty, still miss her of course.
