A Very Early Birthday Splurge

Creating Comfort  - Artist Lucy Almey Bird

I discovered a 'new to me' artist a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love her work.  So I just thought I'd share a link on here so that if any of you like this sort of gentle look at lives lived with books and simple countryside things, you can nip over to her website and click onto the 'Shop' header to look at her prints.

A Good Book - Artist Lucy Almey Bird

Be warned though, I was tempted ... I might have ordered a couple of prints.  😁

A birthday splurge from me to me, it's only a couple of months early!!

    1. They remind me of some of the childrens book illustrations that I used to pore over when reading to my boys, lots of lovely details to notice ... but these are all for me. 😀

    1. Oh yes, I could have spent an absolute fortune but apart from the money side of it I had to think of my limited wall space ... as it is I have no idea where my new prints will hang!

    1. That one is a lovely jigsaw isn't it. I might be tempted by a jigsaw in the future as they are only 500 pieces and I can just about manage that. :-)

    1. That's something that I usually do. You can make such lovely pictures by framing a card with a mount or two can't you, and at a fraction of the cost of buying a print. This time I decided to splurge ... I was obviously feeling very extravagant. :-)
