Keep on Trucking

Right time, right place.

We ended up behind my son on the motorway yesterday on our way back from Mum's.   A total coincidence as we left an hour earlier than usual to get back in time for a meeting.  We followed him for a while, as you would, overtook and waved and then drove into the service station and out of the other side to get behind him again and catch this sneaky little film of my eldest lad in action.

Keep on trucking!!

(with music included)

Proud Mum moment for me, just another day on the road for my son.

    1. It's good to see him in action. ❤️ Somehow I've managed to see him 'on the road' twice this year. The last time he had to turn off the A6 across the way from us. He gave me 15 minutes notice, so me and Mavis combined it with a doggy walk and sat on the wall waiting to give him a wave. πŸ˜€

  3. How lovely to see him by accident, and be able to video him at work - I love his wave, almost regal! xx

    1. I was kidding him about his 'royal wave' when we spoke later. πŸ˜„

  4. That's a heck of a big machine on a great ol' truck and a good coincidence!

    1. He loves the big loads, the bigger and more unusual the better. He spent his army days as a tank transporter driver. Two Chieftains on the back of his truck was the norm. These days it's more heavy plant and crane movements, although he's had a few weird and wonderful loads recently. He's just pinched my little clip for his new TikTok channel, so I must have done well. πŸ˜„

  11. I love it! He's carrying quite a load there. Personally, I don't like driving anything bigger than my VW Fox !!

    1. I can't imagine myself driving anything that big either. The biggest thing I've ever driven was our L200 with a large animal trailer on the back. πŸ˜„
