Remembrance Sunday 2024

The poppy fall is in place on St Thomas' Church in Garstang.  All the handmade knitted and crocheted poppies securely attached and gaps filled from it's use last year.

The fire brigade attached it just as they always do.

The named High Street bollard poppies are all along the road, with hundreds more blank ones being positioned all around the town.  Honouring the men that made the ultimate sacrifice.

The smaller Poppy Fall is as usual positioned at the end of the High Street on the Royal Oak Hotel.

The War Memorial is well looked after all year by the Garstang Bloomers and given extra care on the run up to Remembrance Sunday and the 11th November.  It's a credit to the town.

Our town remembers it's fallen well. 🥀
