What beautiful Lilacs, in a painting by Sergey Khamalyan.
Absolute perfection. 💜
A dream cottage in the woods, what a fairy tale it would be to live in such a location.
The most gorgeous of kitchens, I could happily live here.
But maybe I need a little more lace around the window.
Just some lovely images and thoughts to see you through the weekend.
I do hope it's a good one for you.
Sue xx
Beautiful, I love the lilacs especially.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful aren't they. ❤️
DeleteThanks for sharing and hope you have a lovely weekend too. Catriona
ReplyDeleteIt's going really well up to now, we have guests staying. 😀
DeleteThank you, hope you are enjoying the rain!
ReplyDeleteWe've managed to avoid most of the showers. But I've just got soaked through harvesting some rhubarb for our weekend guests to take home. 😄
DeleteOh the cottage and the oh so cosy kitchen. At the moment I’m twenty floors up in a tower block in central London and it’s grey and raining. When Sunny the views are glorious but not today, so thak you Sue for the above. June
ReplyDeleteIt's surprising what you can do twenty floors up though, and as I found out many years ago there's not many insects that can fly that high up. So houseplants near open windows or on balconies (which we sadly didn't have) are very safe from being nibbled. 😀
DeleteAll beautiful and romantic looking and love the idea of a kitchen like that but I've got used to a dishwasher!
ReplyDeleteI've never had one so I wouldn't miss it at all. I'd much rather have lace and a Belfast sink than a dishwasher. 😄
DeleteA wondrous and simple life
ReplyDeleteIt really can be, with a bit of effort. ❤️
DeleteSome lovely photos, esp. the third one. My ideal kitchen although it's not a million miles from what I have here. You inspired me to quickly clear out the dumping ground which is in the fireplace in the kitchen and now I have some flowers there instead. Photos on my blog later.
ReplyDeleteI love it when a picture inspires me to do something like that. I'll be over to yours for a nosy in a minute. 😀
DeleteLovely
ReplyDeleteAlison in Devon x
❤️ xx
DeleteI can almost smell that first photograph. Xx
ReplyDeleteWho would need artificial air fresheners with a jug of lilacs in the house, it would be heavenly wouldn't it. ❤️
DeleteI love Lilac but I haven’t t any in the garden…yet! I love the kitchen! Enjoy the weekend. 😁
ReplyDeleteSadly, I have never had a lilac bush. I think I need to rectify that. 🙂
DeleteAnd those adorable yellow cow slips in the painting..remind me of my Yorkshire Dales upbringing x
ReplyDeleteThe simplicity of the cowslips makes the lilacs pop even more don't they. 💛
DeleteLovely photos to help us through the weekend. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
My pleasure. ❤️ xx
DeleteLovely pictures! Thank you for sharing. Hope you are having a lovely weekend.
