Just me, stood on my doorstep, pondering life.
Sorry to be missing in action, but Mum's care home went into lockdown due to Norovirus on Monday, one day after we visited on Sunday.
Guess what?
Yep, we both started with it simultaneously on Monday teatime ... thank goodness we have separate bathrooms. Ginger started the next day, poor thing. There's nothing worse than listening to your beloved pet yowl while jettisoning liquid from both ends.
On that note I will leave you, I'm not a sympathy seeking person. 😷
See you next week, when hopefully I have more energy and brain power to write a proper blog post.
You would not believe the amount of corrections I have had to make on this little post!!
Sue xx

Sending sympathy to you all. The week before Christmas, eldest son got married & this terrible bug swept through the family the week leading up to the wedding & the week after!! Some folk had to take to their beds at the venue! Nightmare!!
ReplyDeleteAwful. Sending best wishes to you both for a speedy recovery. Charmaine
ReplyDeleteOh Yuck.
ReplyDeleteKeep drinking plenty of water and I hope it's soon gone.
Wishing all of you that it is over sooner rather than later and that you recover quickly.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that Sue. Wishing you all well asap. Oh and I love the photo.
ReplyDeleteOh no hope you're all over it soon.
ReplyDeletePoor you. Keep warm. Lie down as much as you can.
ReplyDeleteMy Mum would say, “Better an empty house than a bad tenant.”
Hot water to sip may be more comforting than cold.
A small pinch of salt, a teaspoon of white sugar and a squeeze of orange or lemon to a pint of boiled water, for rehydrating.
